About the trainings...

Empowers youth ages 14-19 who want to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse challenges in their friends and peers.
Provides adults with skills necessary to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.

Trains adults to recognize, understand, and react to signs of mental health and substance use issues in children and adolescents aged 12-18.

Upcoming trainings:

  • No cost to participate
  • PPMM will provide all participation materials
  • Minimum 25 openings per training
  • For tMHFA: Parents/guardians must be notified of their teen's participation in the training which will be facilitated by PPMM; teens will also be mailed the required program workbook.


Teen MHFA (ages 14-19)

Prework: 20-30 minutes on basic language and background of tMHFA. Self-paced and online.

Training Option 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday in one week.
